New to day-to-day mindfulness 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi Everyone,

I've been walking down a long path that has lead me to discovering Mindfulness as a way of life. I had done yoga and mediation before, but I guess I was never able to connect such practices with daily ins and outs, and my internal dialogs. It would be 'I have to relax so I'm going to go do some meditation.' Now I've learned that being stressed, angry, worried, or any other unpleasant state of being is a state of being that can be observed, probed, accepted and then can go away.

I just finished reading 'The Mindful Way Through Depression':

This book and what it has taught me about how to be more mindful really has changed my life. I realize that's cliche but it's true for me, for right now. I'm hoping to continue my progress and hope to use this forum along with my meditations to record some of my thoughts and experiences with becoming more mindful. Hopefully there will be others interested in doing the same.

Thanks to the owners/moderators of this board, and, it's nice to be here.
