I have never had a proper mediation course, and chances are unlikely that I ever will! I have been doing my own meditation succesfully for about 6 months now, but I am wondering, where do you guys go in thought?
There are dozens of meditation techniques out there;
Clearing the mind,
Bringing happiness to the mind,
Exploring the mind,
Constructing the mind,
Expanding the mind.
I'm wondering what do you people do while meditation? I usually start by blanking out my thoughts completely, after about five minutes of that, I paint a landscape in my mind to use creativity, then I explore the reaches of what makes me happy and unhappy.
However - I have never come out feeling like I've just meditated... so please, enlighten me on your techniques!
