Where can I find MBCT? 1 Year, 10 Months ago Karma: 1  
I am an avid believer in Mindfulness and also Psychotherapy.
When I heard that they were combined, I was very glad and eager to try and unite meditation practice with therapy.
Where can I find a list with the world providers of MBCT?
Is there MBCT in Portugal?

Hi,

If you want to learn in a group, I think you have to just search in google. There is no list on the internet with all the providers of MBCT.

I run MBCT courses in London and could offer you a distance learning course using a telephone if you are interested.

No thanks. I already practice mindfulness (vipassana/insight) meditation, I learnt it from a very good book and also a course I took here in Portugal. - Not the 10 day's...
I was more interested in finding a MBCTherapist. So I could combine mindfulness in the psychotherapeutic aproach.

Welcome to the forum

We are slowly building a list of MBCT instructors in our Classes and Instructors section.

Unfortunatly we haven't got around to Portugal yet, however you can go to the following URL where you will find international instructors at the bottom of the page...

I just checked it but couldn't see anyone in Portugal.

Didn't find anyone in Portugal.
Do you know if MBCT can be used with psychosis/schizophrenia?

I would be very careful with mbct and psychosis or meditation and psychosis.

I use MBCT (in groups and therapy) and CBT (therapy). I am living in the Netherlands.
